So I handle shipping of our product to job sites, this particular one went from MI to OR, we paid for a dedicated truck, dock-to-dock, so we load here, doors close and they don't open till they get to their destination. This trucking company go the bright idea to move our load anyways, on Sunday, so that their big 53ft truck wouldn't sit idle till its delivery on Monday. So our delivery was missing 2 out of 7 skids when it arrived. Ok.. they track them down for us and finally manage to deliver those as well. One of the items on one of those skids got damaged and on the other skid our craftsman toolset and another box with crimpers, cutters and other hand tools also got stolen.

Big clusterfuck is what that is. Something very shady is going on that we are trying to get to the bottom of.

Did you get this trucker through a broker? If so, I would file a claim with them and duke it out. That is beyond ridiculous.

Owner operator or company driver? If owner opp is driver's fault. If company driver is companies fault.

Yeah this truck was surrounded by a whirlwind of a shitstorm culminating in a shitbarge with shit-for-brains people floating it up to the shit-dock.

That's exactly what we are doing, we are having our broker do the fighting for us, we are just gathering up our numbers for time lost and equipment (to be) replaced.

It was through a major freight company that brokered it out to one of their approved carriers and/or owner operators. Either way the freight company is responsible for making us whole.

We had something similar with a company a while ago, they were only supposed to pick up two rolling boxes and send them to one place, but instead grabbed everything of ours including FedEx stuff, stuff that was going to a completely different location, and even some empty boxes of garbage that needed to get thrown out and sent all of that along with the rolling boxes to the boxes' destination. That was a surprise when it was found out.

We're about to sail into a shit typhoon Randy, so we'd better haul in the jib before it gets covered with shit

Looks like you're on top of it, but file a claim and dig up all the documentation that you can. Definitely a horseshit move by the trucking company to fuck around with a trailer that was already paid for.

Wow, VERY strange... It's ridiculous sometimes what happens to our shipment, one time via UPS Freight we had a shipment arrived covered in some sort of orange powder caked onto it and had gotten into all kinds of crevices too...

Mr. Lahey: Do you know what a Shit Barometer is, boy?

Bubbles: What?

Mr. Lahey: Measures the Shit Pressure in the air. When the Barometer rises, and you'll feel it too, your ears will implode with the Shit Pressure. I tried to warm you, Bubs, but you picked the wrong side! Beware, the Shit Winds are a-comin'.

Yeah, to top it off, they probably loose their approved status with this major trucking company, whom I will not name and who otherwise has done a great job for us.
